At CJ & Associates Care Consulting, many of our clients are vulnerable older adults, mostly with multiple chronic conditions. This is the population at greatest risk for negative impacts from the coronavirus (COVID-19). We are committed to ensuring our part to protect those we serve each day.

Change can cause stress for people living with Alzheimer’s or other dementias and that can be hard for caregivers. We are highly skilled Geriatric Case Managers and are available to help you cope during this very challenging time. We can help you connect with necessary resources.

Social distancing does not mean social isolation. Reach out to others and offer support, empathy, reliable information and, if possible, tangible help. Check on your friends, neighbors, and family. Stay connected by phone, texting, email or by technology such as video chat or Zoom group calls. Personal relationships are crucial in maintaining perspective and elevating mood.

Take care of your body. Eating healthy meals, exercise, get at least seven hours of sleep a night, and limit your alcohol consumption. These things can help your immune system. Regular exercise can reduce anxiety.
